56 Drops of Blood

Vannak történetek, amelyeket minden korban el lehet, el kell mesélni. Vannak olyan példázatok, amelyek azért fontosak számunkra, mert minden korban, történelmi helyzetben próbára teszik erkölcsi tartásunkat. Az 56 csepp vér musicalfilm Rómeó és Júlia – itt: Robi és Juli – története, mely 1956. október 23-án kezdõdik. Szereplõi a világ, az ország végére vetett fiatalok, akik számára szerelem a forradalom, és forradalom a szerelem.
Történetünk egy kicsinyke határ menti településen zajlik, mely valós keresztmetszete a rettegett 50-es évek terrorjának. A faluban rendszeresek az összetûzések, csetepaték a helyi ávósok, és a fiatal kitelepítettek között. A fiatal helyi plébános, Lõrinc hitét követve, és mindent latba vetve próbálja elejét venni a konfliktusoknak, de hiába. Hite nem szünteti meg a terrort és a félelmet.
1956. október 23-án, az ÁVÓ a helyi orosz parancsnok lányának születésnapjára bált rendez. Ezen a bálon a fiatalok újabb nagy összecsapást terveznek a helyi karhatalmistákkal. A terv meghiúsul, mivel a budapesti forradalom kitörésének hírére a bál félbeszakad. Ekkorra már a bálban Júlia, a helyi ávós parancsnok lánya és Robi, a fõvárosból kitelepített színész fia, egymásba szeret. Lehet-e ebben a forradalmi helyzetben a két ellentétes oldalon álló szerelmes szív egymásé? A sors, a forradalom közbeszól, és ártatlanul mindketten áldozatul esnek az eseményeknek. Lõrinc – minden igyekezete ellenére – képtelen megakadályozni a vérontást…

Prologue

It’s unbelievable but 50 years have passed since the 1956 revolution! It’s time we remembered it the way it really should be remembered. Let’s make a film! A musical! A story of Romeo and Juliet! A son of a freedom fighter and a daughter of a communist officer during the revolution… Who’s going to write it? Who will compose the music?
