Hungary, a member of the European Union, is connected with strong ties of alliance to the United States of America. There is no limit in developing further our already existing wide range of relationship. We face numberless possibilities in exploring new areas of the Hungarian-American cooperation in the field of politics, economy, culture, science, media or other side of the social life in all states of our consular district, specially in our headquarters, in California, one of the strongest economic power of the world. I will do my utmost in the forthcoming period of my mission as Consul General to introduce the Hungarian reality and to promote a positive image of Hungary in the local community and in the media.

Tivoli Films was founded in 1991 as a film production and distribution company by Dénes Szekeres, executive producer and managing director for over 12 years. One of the founding fathers in the film industry he has produced for over 30 years.
Tivoli Films track record includes full service for productions shooting in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and other neighbouring countries.

The basic activity of Magyar Filmunió is the promotion of the Hungarian films abroad, to promote awareness of Hungarian film-making at an international level within the circle of professionals as well as of a wide public.
The annual Hungarian feature film, short, documentary and animation production is offered for selection and is nominated by Magyar Filmunió at international film festivals. In addition to the participation at major international industry events such as Berlin, Cannes, Moscow, Karlovy Vary, Venice, Locarno or Montreal, Magyar Filmunió’s endeavour is to present the contemporary Hungarian film production at as many festivals and events as possible.

Mythberg Films is a feature and television film-production company based in Budapest, Hungary. Besides its in-house developed majority films, the company is very much focusing on minority international co-productions as well.
By having a well-developed company structure Mythberg Films has successfully produced or co-produced more than a dozen cinema and TV-movies in the past decade.
In the last two years the company has produced (co-produced) five (5) cinema features with the total budget of over 11m €. All projects were finalized on a successful legal and financial basis, using the most benefit of the Hungarian tax-rebate system (around 1m€ in total) and other local and international financing sources.
Over its more than a decade existence, Mythberg Films has become a trustable and reliable company known for its experienced and friendly team, for its creative involvement in the projects and most importantly for its professional production management with legal and financial advisors and partners attached with which the company can very cost-effectively handle productions and solve different matters for the benefit of partners and financiers.

KMH Film was founded in 2003 by university students studying to be film directors and producer Ferenc Pusztai. In the short time that has elapsed since then, KMH Film has completed three highly appreciated feature films, while also making commercials, several short films and documentaries.

KHM Film is currently working on several Hungarian and international productions that are developed through international script development workshops and are at different phrases of production.
Besides featues KMH Film also specializes in the production of TV commercials. Since 2007 we established ourselves as a production company with high creative and production standards and a staff of friendly and enthusiastic personnel. Our portfolio currently includes over 100 commercials. Our experience stems from producing commercials with local and international directors for the biggest advertising agencies.
Situated in the middle of Europe, we can offer a wide range of locations, good production value and high quality production and post-production services.

In March 2010, Amerikai-Magyar Naplo will debut as the newest, hottest and most widely distributed culture publication to hit the news stands internationally. This magazine will be printed in Hungarian and will contain up-to-date information and news articles that are sure to satisfy the Hungarian population.

In an effort to unite the Hungarian Community, we are launching this new site that will provide a comfortable place to preserve culture, tradition and exchange news and business information. Despite the upset in the global economic system, we can work together to build a stronger community and commercial platform world wide.

Andrew G. Vajna, a Hungarian native, launched his career in the entertainment industry

In 1982 Vajna and Kassar made their film production debut with the highly successful First Blood, starring Sylvester Stallone. Rambo: First Blood Part II was released in 1985, generating more than $300 million worldwide, making it one of the most profitable films in the history of filmmaking.

Vajna and Kassar were executive producers on such films as Alan Parker’s Angel Heart, Rambo III, and Johnny Handsome. Other projects included Music Box, Total Recall, Air America, Mountains of the Moon, Narrow Margin, and Jacob’s Ladder.

Founded in 1992, Film-Art Ltd is the legal successor of Form-Art Ltd. Jenő Hábermann, founder and Managing Director of both companies, has been working in the field of film production since 1970. He has been involved in the production of numerous full length feature films, working with such renowned filmmakers like Zoltán Fábri, Jean Dellanoy, György Illés, Janusz Majewszky, Vitautasz Zhalakyevitshus, István Szőts, Géza Bereményi (Europe Award), and István Szabó (Oscar).

FilmArt produced the highest budget Hungarian film, The Bridgeman as well as the Hungarian-German co-production entitled The Doorwith Helen Mirren and Martina Gedeck in the lead.

Film-Art Ltd. has also produced many television films, documentaries, and commercials.
